Fetty Wap, ASAP Ferg and Tory Lanez have been added to the lineup for the 2016 BET Experience, the TV network and Anschutz Entertainment Group announced Thursday morning.
They join a lineup of previously announced headliners Usher, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz.
The festival — which is built around the network’s annual awards show — is set for June 23-26 at multiple venues at downtown’s L.A. Live.
The weekend of concerts, wellness seminars, celebrity panels and a free fan expo will once again open with comedy headliners, with embattled comedian Katt Williams (who has been arrested four times in a little over a month) and Mike Epps headlining at Staples Center.
R&B megastar Usher and rising alt-R&B/hip-hop singer Bryson Tiller will headline the second night.
Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz will close the weekend of shows at Staples when they perform from their recently released collaborative album, “ColleGrove.” The duo will be joined by rising rappers Fetty Wap, ASAP Ferg and buzzy hip-hop singer Tory Lanez.See the most-read stories in Entertainment this hour >>Read the story
