Palm Bay Chamber celebrates Brevard
The Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce will kick off the holidays Friday with its ninth annual Celebrate Brevard food and wine tasting event.

Themed "Fire and Ice," this year's festivities will include food from about 30 vendors, as well as wine and entertainment by hula dancers from Halau Hula 'O Kilakilapilialohaikapu'uwa (spacecoasthulaschool.com). Celebrate Brevard will be heldat St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5330 Babcock St. N.E., Palm Bay.

Guests are encouraged to wear read or white, in keeping with the theme, said Virginia McDowall, marketing and office manager for the chamber.

In addition to the food and wine, other vendors will be showcasing their merchandise, offering an opportunity for holiday shopping, McDowall said.

Between 200 and 300 people are expected.

"It's a good way to end the workweek," she said, "a good way to network."
