Hillary Clinton has the backing of the city's largest workers' union, labor bigs announced on Wednesday.
District Council 37, which includes 121,000 workers across a host of city agencies and 50,000 retirees, is promising to mobilize its members on behalf of the former Secretary of State for the April 19 New York primary.

"We are proud to endorse Secretary Clinton as the next president of our great nation," said DC 37 Executive Director Henry Garrido.
The union, which also supported her 2000 US Senate run, said it was backing her for the White House because of her commitment to public service, working families and children.
