Woman found dead on Midtown scaffolding in possible suicide

A construction crew working on a Midtown building owned by Mount Sinai Hospital found a dead woman on the top of a sidewalk scaffolding shed early Wednesday, officials said.

The 28-year-old victim jumped from the Millicent V. Hearst House on W. 59th St. near Amsterdam Ave., officials said. The apartment building houses medical students.

It’s believed she jumped from the 33-story building sometime overnight, law enforcement sources said. Workers discovered her body about 10 a.m.

She left a note indicating she was going to kill herself, sources said.
