Car bomb targeting police in eastern Turkey reportedly wounds 14

A car bombing targeting police special forces in eastern Turkey wounded at least 14 people, security sources told Reuters Thursday.

Police were inside an armored vehicle in the city of Diyarbakır, less than 100 miles north of the Syrian border, the sources add. They said civilians were among the wounded.

No groups initially claimed responsibility for the blast.
